This is a 1 week rental of the DCAA-CA210 Kit. This item is currently only available for rental in the USA.

Please note that all FSI Monitors come pre-calibrated. This kit is optional and best suited for long term recalibration of multiple units in facilities that own large quantities of FSI monitors and prefer to do recalibration onsite.

This kit consists of a Minolta CA-210 Color Analyzer and FSI's Direct Connect Automatic Alignment (DCAA) adapter allowing users to plug the CA-210 directly into an FSI monitor, no PC required, to perform fully automated white balance calibration. Every DCAA-CA210 Kit is custom calibrated by FSI with monitor model specific offsets using a high quality spectroradiometer to ensure accurate readings across multiple FSI monitor models.

Automatic alignment is as simple as placing the probe in front of the monitor, recalling the proper monitor model offset from the CA-210's memory, plugging the CA-210 body into the monitor with the provided passive adapter, and then selecting 'Start Display Alignment' from the monitor's menu. The rest of the process is entirely automated and takes roughly 25 minutes per monitor to complete.

The DCAA-CA210 Kit provides an unsurpassed balance of simplicity, speed, and accuracy for FSI monitor white balance setup. By utilizing monitor model specific offsets the CA-210 can handle a wide variety of spectral distributions with x,y chromaticity accuracy of +-0.002 for white balance. Moreover, the CA-210 offers instant recall of these various offset files directly from the Display Color Analyzer body unlike many other color analyzers on the market that require a connected computer for offset file programming and selection.

The Minolta CA-210 can also be used with Spectral's CalMAN Studio and LightIllusion's LightSpace CMS (both sold separately) for 3D LUT based calibration.
