This side mounted field stand is designed to work on both the LM-1760W and LM-1770W. The field stand allows you to securely place the monitor on any level surface without needing the standard desktop pedestal stand. The field stand has two distinct advantages that make it ideal for field use:
- The field stand weighs over 2.5 lbs less than the standard desktop pedestal stand.
- Using the field stand instead of the normal desktop stand frees up the 100mm VESA mounting on the back of the LM-1770W and LM-1760W. This allows you to easily attach a VESA mount accessory, such as a C-Stand adapter (sold separately), to the back of the monitor while still providing a secure stand for the monitor to rest in when placed on a level surface by itself.
The field stand mounts to threaded holes on the side of the monitor (rack mount ear holes) using the thumbscrews that would otherwise hold on the standard desktop stand.
